Custom Flooring Solutions For Any Space: Not Just Garages

We recently transformed this 5000 square foot office space in North Denver, revitalizing the floor and setting it up for a great looking and high performance office. We used Smith’s Surface Guard to seal it and make it shine. This product is a technologically advanced water-based guard for polished concrete, combining the hardness of the acrylic and resilience of the polyurethane to result in a surface with exceptional abrasion and wear resistance. Plus, the finish is UV-resistant and non-yellowing. In all, it gives not only a sleek finish but distinctive character to the concrete floors.

See how we can revitalize any space including homes, offices and more…

While garages are where we spend most of our time working with clients throughout Colorado, we also get to excel in the ‘Custom’ part of our name through unique and awesome projects. We love to hear about your ideas and how we can help you get the highest performance out of your space, and the benefits a CGS Flooring System provides does not stop at the residential garage.

Over the past year, CGS has had the opportunity to expertly install polyaspartic floors throughout Colorado in a number of different rooms, office buildings, industrial settings and homes. Flooring projects can be either newly installed floors or repairing, resealing and refinishing existing floors - usually damaged, cracked or weathered concrete - giving new life to your space. These projects (like many of our garages) also have included services such as drywall repair or installation, paint and lighting.

Outside of the residential space, we have had the opportunity to install floorings which have provided a high quality, professional finish to:

  • Commercial sites and office spaces

  • Basements

  • Home Patios and Porches

  • Barns

  • Automotive shops

  • Sports complexes and more.

Barn, aircraft hangar, veterinary floor finish

We had a lot of fun helping this client turn this 1500 square foot garage into a horse barn. With the new flooring complete, the stables were then installed. For optimal performance in this barn, we used Smith’s Hi-Wear 90S coating, an ideal topcoat for more commercialized, heavy traffic or special use environments. Due to its high solids content and abrasion resistance, the application of the durable Hi-Wear coating will provide this horse barn with a professional, low sheen, chemical resistant, long-lasting finish. These qualities make it an ideal topcoat for more commercialized spaces such as loading docks, aircraft hangars, distribution, veterinary facilities and more.

We are on a mission to transform Colorado homes, businesses and recreational spaces one Custom job at a time.

Here are seven benefits of polyaspartic floors in any environment:

Patio concrete repair - Colorado

This patio was in need of some repair and TLC.

  • UV-resistant: Polyaspartics are UV-stable which means that they will keep their original visual characteristics year after year.

  • Ease of cleaning: The polyaspartic floors are chemical and moisture resistant and much more versatile in their ability to be cleaned, easing their maintenance over time. Regular dust mopping and spot treating spills will be about all you need to keep your floors looking they do on installation day over time. The decorative flaking in the flooring also hides most typical spills or dirt that are inevitably going to land on your floor. Say goodbye to the stains and color imperfections from old cement.

  • Quality: Polyaspartics were originally most widely used in commercial locations such as airplane hangers and hospitals for their durability and quality over time. As the technology has both improved and become more widely available, they are the superior choice when choosing flooring due to their long-lasting, granite-like quality.

  • Durability: Polyaspartic floors are flexible and durable which means they’ll offer superior protection against anything you can throw at them – cars, bikes, sports equipment, tools and more.

  • Long-lasting bond to concrete: The polyaspartic is chemically bonded to the concrete and resists hot-tire peel.

  • Installation Time: Our polyaspasrtic floor install takes a day to install and a matter of hours to cure, can be applied ruing a much wider temperature range meaning that we can install your polyaspartic floors throughout the year in Colorado. We just look for the weather to be above 40 degrees during install for best results.

  • Safety: The bottom line is that a damaged floor can expose risks such as cracks, unevenness and shifting over time due to temperature changes. We know in Colorado that we have all the different weather seasons. The polyaspartic floor can withstand those changes as it bonds directly to the concrete, meaning both the visual appeal and the performance features will be locked in for years.
